Last Friday, May 15, Governor Sununu announced CARES Act small business support programs recommended by the Governor's Office for Emergency Relief and Recovery (GOFERR):
New Hampshire Nonprofit Emergency Relief and Recovery Fund
$60 million for nonprofit organizations, excluding healthcare and childcare, to be administered by the CDFA, NH Charitable Foundation and the NH Center for Nonprofits. Preliminary guidance is available here.
Main Street Relief Fund
$400 million to be awarded as grants small businesses with annual revenue of less than $20 million. For-profit businesses, including self-employed individuals, are eligible; healthcare, childcare and agriculture are excluded.
Businesses must apply for prequalification between May 15 to May 29; click here to complete the pre-qualification form.
Safe Harbor Loans
$30 million for safe harbor loans from the Business Finance Authority. Details pending.
FY2021 Grant Cycle
Match requirement is waived for all FY21 grant applications
